Double Major and Minor Program
DOUBLE MAJOR
Double major students must complete all of the courses and graduation requirements of their primary majors as well as all of the required and elective courses of their secondary majors.
If BUS 101 Introduction to Business I (Decision Making) is available in the primary programs of students double majoring in different faculties, these students are kept exempt from BUS 100 Fundamentals of Business Administration and BUS 190 Introduction to Business Informatics. Students who are not offered BUS 101 in their primary programs must complete BUS 100 and BUS 190.
Among the students double majoring in the Faculty of Business programs, credit and grade transfer rules specified for their primary major will be applied for BUS 101 Introduction to Business I (Decision Making) course.
For their secondary major, credit and grade transfer rules specified for the secondary major will be applied.
Double major students are not required to complete internships in their secondary majors. It is sufficient for these students to complete the internship requirements of their primary majors.
Double major students must have completed at least 306 (240+66) credits in total in order to be eligible for graduation from their secondary majors. Students whose total credits remain below 306 even after completing all of the requirements of their primary majors and secondary majors can complete their remaining credits:
- By taking “Program” electives or “Specialization Areas” electives if they double major in the Business Administration program.
MINOR
If BUS 101 Introduction to Business I (Decision Making) is available in the primary programs of students MINORING in different faculties, these students are kept exempt from BUS 100 Fundamentals of Business Administration and BUS 190 Introduction to Business Informatics. Students who are not offered BUS 101 in their primary programs must complete BUS 100 and BUS 190.
Among students minoring in the Faculty of Business programs, for those who took and passed the BUS 101 Introduction to Business I (Decision Making) course, the credit and grade transfers will be completed as follows:
- The credit and grade transfer rules specified for the primary major will be applied for the primary major. The credit and grade transfer rules specified for the MINOR program will be applied for the MINOR program.
Minor program students must have completed at least 270 (240+30) credits in total in order to be eligible for graduation from their minor programs. Students whose total credits remain below 270 even after completing all of the requirements of their primary majors and the Business Administration program in which they minor can complete their remaining credits:
- By taking “Program” electives or “Specialization Areas” electives offered by the Business Administration program.
Students admitted to minor programs are required to complete the following courses offered in their minor programs.
