As a new international student, you must apply for a student residence permit within 30 days of arriving in Turkey.
Application Steps:
- Visit the International Office for guidance and document preparation.
- Prepare required documents (passport, photos, proof of address, health insurance, student certificate, etc.).
- Fingerprint Submission: Visit the immigration office to give fingerprints after applying. You may need to get your student certificate and your passport with you. Don't, forget to read the email carefully to find the closest Migration Office.
- Submit Documents: Provide all required documents to the International Office within 4 days of applying.
- The International Office submits your application, so you do not need to visit the immigration office yourself.
- Regularly check your application status until it's approved. International Office shares an email with you to check the status of your application
- Once approved, your residence permit card will be delivered to your registered address within 1 month. You can collect your Residence Permit from the International Office. Once it is ready, you will receive an email from the International Office to collect your card. If you receive your card at your own address, you may need to share a copy with the International Office
