Address Registration

After receiving your Residence Permit card, you are required to visit the Immigration Office to register your address.
If you are living off-campus:

  • You will need to have your house rental contract notarized at a notary office.
  • Provide a utility bill (e.g., electricity, water) in your name.

If you are living on-campus :

  • You only need the dorm address letter provided by the dorm office.

Afterward, students book an appointment using this link. On the day of your appointment, bring your active residence permit card, address information, and your original passport.

As a suggestion, Sultanbeyli Göç İdaresi is the closest immigration office to our school, so consider booking your appointment there.

  • Legal Requirement: According to Turkish law, foreigners must register their address with the immigration office within 20 days of receiving your residence permit. Sometimes police check the address, as a result it is a must that all of you should do.
  • Residence Permit Process: Address registration is often required to finalize or renew your residence permit. Without registering your address, your residence permit may not be approved or renewed.
